The Alsace region of France, with its diverse soils and microclimates, is best known for rich, aromatic whites such as gewürztraminer and riesling. In recent years, however, many of its best estates have been producing unique and stylish wines from pinot noir. Below are five, most made with biodynamically grown grapes, selected by me that will change your ideas about pinot noir from Alsace.
