Smoothed out on the R and B tip big time. Tannins gone but still plenty of acid and structure. Fresh leather, sour cherry, and strawberry. Aromatics younger than what it is, but so so well integrated with age. Opaque, cloudy like it has been shaken up in transport, even though it has been stable up in my cav y’all. Still a very light and elegant color. Delicious with octopus and great bruschetta at Dell’anima here in the NYC. Or just straight up delicious and what not all on it’s own. I wouldn’t go longer than this year for drinking it, but I still wish I had more bottles of this left. JS would certainly have more experience and insight than I on this, but I got to enjoy and share in the pleasure of this lovely wine nonetheless. 96 points. Find the wine.
