I really enjoy drinking Beaujolais, as some of you know. I found a bottle of the 2010 Jean Foillard Morgon Cote du Py at The Standard High Line hotel in New York a couple of weeks ago and it was delicious with my Lobster Thermidor with mushroom. I like hanging out at the Grill Restaurant at The Standard. Anyway, the Gamay’s fresh fruit with floral undertones and just a hint of earth was great with the savory shellfish, not to mention the bright acidity and no tannins. 92 points.
