I drank this wonderful 2010 Barbera d’Alba Superiore from Chiara Boschis (E. Pira & Figli) during a lunch this week while filming a documentary on Barolo. The film is going great with director James Orr at the helm. Wonderful aromas of strawberry and lemon rind follow through to a full body with light tannins and a bright finish. Perfect now. 90 points. We drank it with boiled beef tongue with a little salt and olive oil. Love the fresh fruit cutting through juicy meat. Yum.
