I found this in the British Airways First Class lounge in Terminal 7 at John F Kennedy Airport in New York. This young Pomerol showed young and reserved aromas of plums and hazelnut with hints of chocolate that follow through to a full body with soft and velvety tannins and a delicious smokey, chocolate and almond aftertaste that are enveloped in ripe fruit. It’s subtle and delicious. Why wait? 90 points.
