In a few hours, JamesSuckling.com will release its list of the Top 100 Wines of 2017 including the The Wine of the Year. The annoucement will be made in Hong Kong at the Great Wines of the World dinner at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in front of 180 guests including some of the greatest winesmakers in the world from Lafite-Rothschild to Opus One. This year was a great moment for the wines of Chile, and The Wine of the Year in 2017 will be one of three wines JamesSuckling.com tasted this Spring in Chile: Seña Valle de Aconcagua 2015, Clos Apalta Apalta 2014 and Almaviva Punete Alto 2015.
