Terre di Talamo: The Wine

Terre di Talamo is located on the coast of southern Tuscany in Maremma, facing the Argentario gulf. The winery covers an extension of 52 hectares with 32 hectares of planted vineyards that hold varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Alicante, Vermentino and Viognier. In this video, owner Marco Bacci, who also owns Renieri in Montalcino and Castello di Bossi in Chianti Classico, discusses with James the popularity of Tuscan whites and two of the wines produced at Terre di Talamo from Vermentino: the Terre di Talamo Vento and the Terre di Talamo Vento Forte Vendemmia Tardiva. Marco speaks about the unique qualities that the Maremma area transmits to the Vermentino variety as well as the unique balance between alcohol and acidity in the wines from this area. Enjoy the video!
