Owner Eduardo Chadwick of Viñedo Chadwick (as well as Seña, Arboleda and Errazuriz) and technical director Francisco Baettig discuss their 2014 Viñedo Chadwick, which was Chile's first wine to land a perfect 100-points and placed second in our Top 100 Wines of 2016. The winery's 30-hectare property is located in Alto Maipo, just a half hour drive from Santiago, where some of Chile’s finest cabernet is grown. Alto Maipo’s gifted terroir, along with a perfectly cool growing season and immaculate winemaking, produced this exceptional wine that perfectly combines a kind of power and finesse often found in Alto Maipo’s subregion of Puente Alto.
