Our runner-up in the JamesSuckling.com 2013 Harvest Video Competition is Chateau d'Esclans. Arguably the best rosé producer in the world, their entry is our second best video in 2013 because we think it's the most realistic portrayal of a harvest we reviewed.
A car with the headlights on moves through a dirt road towards a vineyard, and soon after dawn it all gets underway. The rest of the video continues to the rhythm of a seductive jazz song, and shows us the pickers hard at work harvesting the lush and centenary grenache vines found in this estate.
