JamesSuckling.com and Hong Kong Tatler are delighted to present the 2015 edition of GREAT WINES OF ITALY ASIA TOUR in Bangkok and Hong Kong. This spectacular wine tasting event gives wine lovers a unique opportunity to savor and discover a selection of Italy’s most sought-after wines from prestigious international brands as well as chosen premium boutique wineries. All wineries and wines on showcase have been hand-selected by internationally-acclaimed wine critic James Suckling for their quality and character, reaching top scores of 90 points and above. Taste the wines with the winemakers and vintners themselves, many of which have come from Italy for the event.

The grand opening of Great Wines of Italy Asia, the Wine Collectors’ Dinner, will bring together trade members, wine lovers and wineries to taste their top-rated wines and savor a multi-course dinner by Michelin-starred guest chef Massimo Mentasti from Villa Sparina, Italy.

THE GRAND TASTING – BANGKOK

Taste over 200 top-rated Italian wines from 78 of the most prestigious international wineries, all hand-selected for their outstanding quality and rated 90+ points by Asia’s most powerful wine critic James Suckling. Meet the producers including Ornellaia, Solaia/Tignanello (Marchesi Antinori), Bibi Graetz and Roberto Voerzio, in addition to many others. The tasting will be complemented by a selection of fine Italian cheeses and cold cuts.

Savor a James Suckling hand-picked selection of outstanding wines (each scoring 90+ points) and meet the vintners. Complemented by fine Italian cheeses from Caprice, the Grand Tasting is more than a tasting – it is an experience.

CHIANTI CLASSICO GRAN SELEZIONE TASTING WORKSHOP – HONG KONG

This is an exclusive walk-around tasting with a selection of wines from 20 of the best Chianti Classico producers, all vetted by James Suckling. Following an introduction by James on the region’s newest and top-quality wine designation, Gran Selezione, participants will taste almost a two dozen Gran Selezione Chianti Classicos as well as personally meet the winemakers and vintners of each estate. This tasting is only opened  to wine trade members and select media. Space is very limited.

THE 90+ POINTS WINE COLLECTORS’ DINNER – HONG KONG
