ABOUT THE EVENT

Considered THE wine tasting of the year in Hong Kong, the Great Wines of the World tasting month allows you to taste and experience outstanding wines from some of the world’s most renowned vineyards and boutique wineries at James Suckling Wine Central in the centre of Hong Kong. 

From iconic wine countries like France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Chile, Australia and the US, to notable ones such as Uruguay, China and South Africa, discover extraordinary wines from different terroirs around the world. All wines available to taste have scored a minimum of 90 points by James Suckling, with the majority scoring 95 points and above, including several perfect 100-point wines. 

This is a true miss-it-miss-out opportunity to taste some of the most exciting wines currently made around the world.

NOVEMBER / DECEMBER 2020 TASTING PROGRAM 

November 16 (Monday) – December 13 (Sunday), 2020

A series of curated tastings and experiences with 100 of the best wineries in the world split across four exciting weeks! Wineries and wines on showcase will alternate each week. Join any one – or multiple! – of the weekday or weekend tasting sessions. Spots will be allocated first come first serve – so be quick as these tastings always book out weeks in advance!

These are open tastings of 90 minutes in which any of the 100+ wines on showcase can be tasted. 

James will give a short introduction at each session.

These are daily, themed masterclasses. James will curate and introduce the wines and their producers. 

This is a shorter format (60min) focusing on a selection of wines which will be tasted together with James guidance (wines will differ here as well).
