This is a legend and lives up to it. Dense and opulent with layers of ripe, powerful, pure and rich fruit across the board. I have been lucky enough to drink this a number of times and it doesn’t change. 100 points.

I had this a few days ago with friends at Island Tang, my favorite Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong. It never disappoints and underlines how well top 2000 Bordeaux are now drinking, particularly top Pomerols. The polish and refinement are so beautiful with chocolate, dark berry, hazelnut and cocoa powder character.

This is a less famous vintage for the Northern Rhone winery but showing beautifully now. Aromas of dried fruits, smoked meat and balsamic. Full body, round and velvety tannins and a flavorful finish. Just right now. A savory and juicy wine. Drink now. 94 points. 

I was so happy to drink this last night. I opened a bottle of 1992 Fonseca for a friend who was born that year and we had a bad bottle. Bad luck. So I found another bottle of 1992 Vintage Port – Delaforce. So happy. This is such a wonderful

This is an amazing Brunello with mushroom, spice, dried meat and dried fruits. Full-bodied, velvety and dense. It has amazing depth and length. Goes on for minutes. Still a perfect wine. 100 points.

This is a phenomenal Champagne that I enjoyed from magnum with intense aromas of crème brûlée, dried apple, dried apricot and pear. Some tropical fruit but always subtle. Full-bodied, dense and layered with beautiful fruits and a long, long finish. Limestone and white pepper aftertaste. A joy to taste. 98 points
