Great Wines of the Andes is coming back to Asia! The tour is returning to Hong Kong and Beijing in May 2019, hot on the heels of the sell-out success of Great Wines of the Andes in the United States. Top wineries from Argentina, Chile and Uruguay will be back in top form for this special Asian tasting tour.
The Grand Tasting events for wine lovers and members of the wine trade will be held in Hong Kong at the Four Seasons Hotel on May 28, followed by a second tasting in Beijing at The Peninsula Beijing on May 30. The events will be hosted by James Suckling, together with the owners and producers of the wineries who will personally present their latest releases at the walk-around tastings.
This truly is an opportunity no wine lover can miss: James and his team of tasters have rated almost 3,000 from the Andes this year, and it has been eye-opening: Andes wine is improving as winemakers fine-tune their skills and push traditions, redefining how the region approaches the wine world. From malbec and cabernet to pinot noir and chardonnays – all the hand-picked wines being poured at the events have been awarded scores of 90+ points, including a selection of perfect scoring 100-Pointers as well!
