Long list –
The top 10 #9wordwinenotes will be shared on the JamesSuckling.com Facebook channel. Fans will be invited to vote for their favorites with likes and shares.
Shortlist –
A top 5 shortlist will be announced, as decided by social likes and shares.
Winners and Runners-up –
CEO and Editor James Suckling will decide the top 3 winners from the shortlist.
Judging
Winning tasting notes will be judged on clarity, creativity, originality and being no more and no less than 9 words long. They must describe a real wine, available to buy at the time of writing. There is no credit for ‘agreement’ with notes or reviews published on JamesSuckling.com.
Competition Terms
Event ticket prizes include any James Suckling event taking place between August 20, 2019 and December 31, 2020. Winners must select their event By January 1, 2020.
Event ticket prizes only include event entry ticket (not travel costs to the event etc) and no cash equivalent will be offered.
James Suckling Wine Central coupons are valid for James Suckling Wine Central, 22 Staunton Street, Hong Kong, and must be claimed and used by December 31, 2020.
Annual website subscription prize is for the “Yearly Subscription” plan as offered on JamesSuckling.com.
Entries must be written as Facebook posts, Tweets or Instagram posts from the respective accounts of the participant.
Entries must include the hashtags #9wordwinenote and #jamessuckling.
Contestants must be 21 years of age or older at the time of the event of their choice.
