Italy is the country of honor next week during VinExpo in Hong Kong at the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wanchai from May 24 to 26. And the organizers of the massive wine trade event with more than 1,300 exhibitors invited James to speak at a small and intimated breakfast from 8:30 to 9:30 am in conference room 211/212 on May 25. VinExpo CEO Guillaume Deglise will ask James his views on Asia, and the opportunities and difficulties for Italian wines in the diverse and interesting wine markets within the region.
James has been a resident of Hong Kong for almost five years now after leaving the American wine magazine The Wine Spectator in 2010 as European Bureau Chief. His followers number in the millions in Asia with his website and multi-lingual newsletters (Thai and Chinese).
