I was looking over hundreds of photos of my wine event
Divino Tuscany in Florence, Italy, and I had to share some of my favorite ones with you. They represent very special moments in my life. I hope you enjoy them and I hope you can come next year to the event.

One of the world’s great violinist, Joshua Bell, dazzles the crowd during the opening night of Divino Tuscany in Florence. His rendition of Vivladi’s Four Seasons was breathtaking.
Close to 4,000 bottles of the best wines of Tuscany were consumed over four days in Florence during Divino Tuscany. I couldn’t keep count of all the wonderful bottles I tasted!
I couldn’t believe how wonderful the event was going as I thought about the 2006 Brunello and 2007 Merlot tastings I was conducting at the Palazzo Capponi with 150 people each morning. It was hard to decide which wines were showing better. Participants couldn’t decide either!
The wines seemed to taste even better in the splendor of the Palazzo Capponi. In fact, tasting the wines in Florence with everyone was an amazing experience!
The gala dinner at the Palazzo Corsini on the banks of the Arno River with cuisine from Michelin-starred restaurant Enoteca Pinchiorri was flawless. More than 450 people celebrated one of the greatest dinners of all time in Florence.
My daughter Isabel sang Puccini, Lotti and Caccini following the wonderful meal at Palazzo Corsini. Opera singer Susan Graham said she thought Isabel had a future — even at just 13 years old!
The Four Seasons hotel in Florence was the perfect venue for afternoon tastings of great wines from 53 Tuscan wineries. It was a friendly and enlightening tasting, not like your normal “walk around” tastings.
Private dinners in palaces throughout Tuscany were a highlight of Divino Tuscany. This was at Castello Brolio in Chianti Classico.
The event finished with a barbecue at
Il Palagio, Sting and Trudie’s estate in the Tuscan countryside. The Cuban band Tiempo Libre played and everyone was dancing their hearts away, full of Ferrari sparkling wine. All vowed to come back next year for Divino Tuscany!
