Surprisingly still somewhat tannic, this 35+ year old Barolo is still lively, yet offering a myriad of complexities: menthol, damp earth, etc. It’s seamless and has a vibe that takes decades to come around. Needless to say, this was, as the Jackson’s say, “enjoy yourself” time. 95 points. Find the wine.
