Bordeaux Confidential USA: NYC & SF Event Recap

Held May 14 in New York City at City Winery and May 16 in San Francisco at General’s Residence, Bordeaux Confidential USA proved just how much Americans like this top French wine region – both events were sold out with 500 attendees each.
The walk-around tasting brought smiles to patrons’ faces as they tasted top wines from 45 producers in NYC and 35 in SF. Many people took the opportunity to ask questions of the winemakers present to learn more about what was in their glass.
To compliment the experience, Billecart-Salmon provided their refreshing Champagne, and exceptional cheese and meat platters were also on hand. Pianist Dan Tepfer serenaded the crowd in NYC, and a jazzy, laid-back playlist set the mood in SF.
All in all, Bordeaux Confidential USA turned a lot of people on to some great Bordeaux, which they can look forward to getting their hands on from Zachys in NYC and K&L Wine Merchants in SF.
