Following our kickoff edition in Miami earlier this year (watch the video here), JamesSuckling.com Great Wines of the World returned to New York on June 15 and 16. More than 2,000 attendees, wine enthusiasts, wine trade members, hospitality professionals, sommeliers and collectors joined us at the Altman Building for two unforgettable Grand Tastings in the Big Apple. There was so much energy and excitement from the audience.
Curated by JamesSuckling.com, the event featured 200 handpicked producers from some of the world’s best wine-producing areas, representing renowned wineries and their latest releases. All of the wines featured were rated at least 92 points (with the majority scoring 95-98 points) and many made it onto the JamesSuckling.com Top 100 Wines of 2022 list. Attendees had the opportunity to explore an extensive range of wines from France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the United States, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and more, and in many cases taste these firsthand with the winemakers or winery owners.
