In this video James met with Giampaolo Motta, owner and winemaker of Fattoria La Massa, to check out his incredible new winery. Fattoria La Massa is located in a beautiful spot in the locality of the town of Panzano in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. Giampaolo makes a Bordeaux blend with Sangiovese as well as a Bordeaux blend. He currently works along with prestigious wine consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt.
To make his amazing wines, Giampaolo has in the past few years been in the process of building an incredibly beautiful and functional new winery. The project is finished and we had the chance to walk through the winery with Giampaolo. Watch the video and hear Giampaolo explain all the intricacies of his incredible new winery.
