About the masterclass:
Over two centuries old, Laurent-Perrier consistently produces classic, top quality Champagne. This is a rare chance to try not only their 2007 and 2008 vintage Champagnes, but also four different versions of their prestige cuvée, Grand Siècle. Edouard Cossy (Global Director Grand Siècle) and Lucie Pereyre de Nonancourt (Global Ambassador) will join live from France via Zoom.

These two legendary names in Piemonte make great Barolos that can be aged for decades. Contrast the iconic wines of the recently late Pio Boffa, a visionary fourth-generation winemaker, with the extreme low-yield wines of Roberto Voerzio, who began making wine in the 1980s.

Discover the serious dry white and sweet wines from Bordeaux. Compare the 2016, 17 and 18 vintages of Clos des Lunes’ Lune d’Argent, owned by Domaine de Chevalier, with the flagship white of the estate itself, and round it off with three contrasting vintages of Chateau Suduiraut.

Domaine de Baronarques is the Rothschild (Mouton) family’s venture into Languedoc in the south of France. With traditional Bordeaux winemaking, they create a 100% chardonnay and reds of 70% Bordeaux varietals blended with 30% Mediterranean GSM varietals. Discover how they have created a new standard in the region. Augustin Deschamps, director of the property, will join live from France via Zoom.

A spectacular tasting looking at icons of Bordeaux 15 years after: taste the 2006 vintage with acclaimed wine critic James Suckling. 2006 was a challenging and variable vintage for Bordeaux but rigorous selection for the grands vins resulted in some of the top Châteaux producing fine wines. Try them yourself to make the call on how they are faring 15 years on.
