The United States’ most loved Italian wine event is back with a record-breaking six-city tour across America’s most important wine hubs. Featuring hundreds of top-rated wines from famous Chiantis and Brunellos to amazing Tuscans, Barbarescos and Amarones, these events are dedicated to showcasing the best of Italy! Owners and winemakers will be present, showing two of their latest releases (all scoring a minimum of 90 points or more) and will be happy to discuss their wines with you while you taste.
We are particularly excited about the superlative wines showing from the 2015 vintage. The 2015 vintage is already recognized as a classic across many wine regions. But the winemaking excellence expressed that year is best seen in Italy, where perfect conditions gave rise to many perfect wines. Two Italian 2015 wines occupied the top two spots in the JamesSuckling.com Top 100 Wines of the Year list for 2019! In fact, we think 2015 is probably the best vintage from the Brunello region on record.
Great Wines of Italy USA gives you the chance to taste many 2015 wines in one setting including James’ No. 1 wine Siro Pacenti Brunello di Montalcino Vecchie Vigne 2015, as well as five 100-point perfect-scoring wines! This is a true miss-it-miss-out opportunity for industry professionals and Italian wine lovers to taste some of the most exciting wines currently made in Italy. To round up the evening, enjoy listening to tunes from Sony Music Entertainment’s recording artist Surahn Sidhu!
The Grand Tastings sell out every year weeks in advance so grab your ticket now to ensure your spot! Click the city event pages below for details. See you there!
Taste James Suckling’s #1 Wine of the Year in 2019 at the Grand Tastings!
